Rental Qualifications
All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- All applicants must agree to both a Credit and Background Check.
- Any applicant to a single tenant property must have verifiable income of at least three times the monthly rental rate.
- Any applicant to a multiple tenant property must have verifiable income of at least three times the monthly rental rate.
- No tenant can be legally bound by another Rental Contract or Lease during the terms of the Lease through Meadowlark Property Management.
Some reasons for automatic exclusion as a Tenant are:
- Felony arrest or conviction
- More than one Landlord/Tenant dispute
- More than one misdemeanor conviction
- Prior Bankruptcy
- Registered sexual predators and sex offenders
- Drug convictions
- Prior Eviction
Possible grounds for exclusion as a Tenant are:
- Pending arrests/pending court cases
- Prior criminal case involving serious misdemeanor charges
- Gang/Drug Involvement
- Prior court actions involving spousal or domestic abuse
- Unsatisfied judgments
- Poor credit
- Employment/Rental History
